REPORT: Was a cold winters day as we arrived at the park, ready to raise some money for the RSPCA at the annual Million paw walk. Q, Liz and I were first on the scene, gave a quick recon and quickly met up with the others before deciding to kit up. Once our point trooper arrived, escorted by squad dog Treacle, we made our way in and were quickly surrounded by the public eager for photo's. Q and his well behaved puppy, Empire, wowed the crowd and while the rain was patchy, a few of us patrolled the outer reaches posing for more photo's. At 11am the walk officially started and a small group of us went out to complete the walk (We definitely did the 5km walk, not just the 1km, I swear). Once back Luke entered the squad dog Treacle into the "Dog that looks most like it's owner" competition, which they promptly won. With the crowd starting to disperse the decision was made to call it a day.

 

CHARITY: RSPCA - Not sure of the total amount

 

INJURIES: Don't know of any

 

ARMOR REPAIRS: Other than a dry out, none that I know of

 

HAPPY PEOPLE: Many

 

UNHAPPY PEOPLE: None, though there were a few unsure puppy dogs

 

MISSION STATUS: Complete
