justjoseph63[Staff] Posted May 17, 2017 Report Posted May 17, 2017 Looking great so far, Logan! If possible, I would recommend moving the shoulder bells closer to your shoulder strap. (They should actually be touching them or very close to it). 1 Quote
starsaber25[Admin] Posted May 17, 2017 Report Posted May 17, 2017 Hi Logan, your armor is looking great so far! I would just echo the advice Joseph gave you and bring in the shoulder bells so they are almost touching the shoulder bridges. Quote
Logan_Blueline[TK] Posted May 18, 2017 Author Report Posted May 18, 2017 Thanks guys, I'll fix that up! I'll add more photos when my photographer and I have matching days off. Quote

ukswrath[Staff] Posted May 19, 2017 Report Posted May 19, 2017 Hey Logan, Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. While you wait please add a photo showing the thigh ammo to pack to thigh, interior and exterior connections. Also, there appears to be paint on the cod rivet head and posterior snaps, Please remove the paint and post updated photos. Thanks brother. Edit: We also need to see a photo of your Thermal Detonator clip connections. Quote

ukswrath[Staff] Posted May 19, 2017 Report Posted May 19, 2017 Thanks Logan. We have a couple requests before we can move forward. Though not mentioned in the CRL the TD screws will need to be painted black, but this should be a quick and easy fix. Here's a reference photo It also appears the ammo belt is attached to the thigh using pop rivets. Unfortunately pop rivets are not allowed at the EI level. The CRL states: For level two certification (if applicable): Thigh ammo belt is attached to thigh with a solid head rivet or fastener in the upper corner and fastened to the lower thigh ridge. The solid head rivet attachment is painted white. Standard pop rivets are not allowed The pop rivets will need to be replaced with cap rivets or similar. There are a couple sellers here on whitearmor that have the correct versions. There are also countless build threads illustrating their installation. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask. Here's a couple reference photos Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted May 20, 2017 Report Posted May 20, 2017 I will send you a couple of the correct cap rivets or split rivets (no charge) for your thigh ammo pack, Logan. Just PM me and I can get those in the mail right away. 2 Quote

Logan_Blueline[TK] Posted May 23, 2017 Author Report Posted May 23, 2017 Thanks, I sent you a PM. I saw a post in which cap rivets from Tandy Leather worked so I bought a pack of 100 and used them. I also painted the TD screws with Humbrol Black. Quote
illusionz_09[TK] Posted May 30, 2017 Report Posted May 30, 2017 The updates look great. Nice job! Certification is right around the corner Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted June 2, 2017 Report Posted June 2, 2017 Hey Logan, thank you for your EI application. Let's take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Beautiful job on your build trooper. Thank you for making the suggested and requested updates, way to go!! . That said, Sly and I are glad to say your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome and congratulations . Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. The only area in question is the left side rivet paint needs to be touched up a bit. Gotta look your best for the empire right? Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The ab to kidney gap near the bottom right side will need to be closed for Centurion. This looks to be an easy fix though. Excellent job on your build and we hope to see you at Centurion very soon 1 Quote
Logan_Blueline[TK] Posted June 2, 2017 Author Report Posted June 2, 2017 Thank you! I will start working towards Centurion soon! Everyone has been extremely helpful. Troopers helping troopers. 3 Quote
