Hey all - Im possibly looking to make the change from canvas to leather ammo pouches for more authenticity. Any recommendations on where to grab them? If possible id like to find a shoulder pouch that still keeps the smaller pouch attached to it. Thanks!!

Yeah, I noticed the price of these things is all over the board.  The same exact set lists from $35.00 to over $80.00 on there.  I bought 2 sets  (upgrades my HWT from the canvas ones) for less than the price of one of the others.  Caveat emptor!

You have to come up with your own straps to get them to sit right. Original sat at an angle on belt.

I bought those tool.  They seem nice, although I haven't had time to change over from my original [painted] canvas ones.  I need to figure out how to make the stitches black without looking like I took a Sharpie and drew on them.

As for the loops, I've tried 2 different method; Chicago screws for the loops and glued Velcro for attaching a strap to the pauldron.
