hudel123[TK] Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 (edited) Hello, I'm unsure if this is really a good offer or something I should better stay away from. Can someone of the experts please give me advice here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STAR-WARS-STORMTROOPER-STUNT-HELMET-KIT-ABS-COMPLETE-WITH-TRIM-DECALS-/232304945919?fromMakeTrack=true Every help is appreciated. By the way, I orderd an RS Propmaster Armour. Thank's in advance. Hans-Jürgen Edited April 19, 2017 by hudel123 Quote
msouza[TK] Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 Most of our first reaction is to stay away from ebay at all cost!! It has a two piece cap & back which can be a pain in the rear to line up! Go through http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ and you should be able to find a reputable vetted seller to get what you need! Quote
Shanester[TK] Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 The three piece construction of the base helmet is worrying. Its just added work and increased risk of failure. Just my opinion. Quote
troopermaster Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 You have ordered a top of the range armour and you are considering a low end helmet? Get the matching RS 1 Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 Did anyone else notice that the ears specifically the middle part) are different sizes? I smell a recast. Quote
humperdingle Posted April 20, 2017 Report Posted April 20, 2017 You have ordered a top of the range armour and you are considering a low end helmet? Get the matching RS Just what I was thinking. The neck trim looks very thin, too, and the colour match may be off, with the helmet kit being made of 2mm 'glossy' (acrylic capped?) material. Quote
hudel123[TK] Posted April 20, 2017 Author Report Posted April 20, 2017 I didn't realize the different size ear parts. My fear was that someone bought the Helmet and made a mistake when he cut off the ABS. My other Point was the chance to buy a recast. I asked the seller for the source but he didn't answer until now. So I think now it is a recast. I contacted RS Props also for a Helmet meanwhile Thank's for your comments. Quote

Yes, it's a bit bumpy on the surface but don't be surprised, it retained all the good of the original found helmet. (I own a set of RS made into Sandtrooper) Quote
