Chopper857[TK] Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 looking good mate, nothing to do with submission but i would add some felt strips to the metal clips on your TD last thing you want to do is start scratching up your Armour after all the good work Quote
themaninthesuitcase[Admin] Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 Looks good trooper but I see a couple of things: The left (in the photo, so your right) leg is rotate a bit. The strip should be at the front. Looks like your ab plate is about to pop out. Looks like you're using wire brackets but I can't tell if you have the correct taller ones on the chest plate for the overlap. Good luck trooper! Quote

Seems to work so far. Thanks Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk Quote

Good luck trooper! You're right on with that right thigh piece being out of alignment. Either it twisted on me or I put it on crooked. Easily fixed though by sliding my loop connection to the garter belt over. Thanks for the review. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted April 26, 2017 Report Posted April 26, 2017 Hey Frank thanks for patience. Before we get started we need you to post a action shot. Thank you Quote
fragarock[TK] Posted April 27, 2017 Author Report Posted April 27, 2017 Hi Tony, I added one just below the main armor shots. Sorry I missed that one. Thanks again for the review. Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted April 27, 2017 Report Posted April 27, 2017 Hey Frank, thank you for your patience and EI application, let's get started. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome and congratulations! . Beautiful job on your build Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Since this section is used to enhance to overall look of your armor we have a few requests. 1) Shoulder bell to chest and back gap, though minor we're recommending you reduce it even further if possible. Removing more of the lower return edge should do the trick. Reference photo 2) The Center Ab button panel looks like it may be a bit off center, it should be aligned with the vertical raised section on the Ab plate above. Also You might want to trim the top section on the pertical button plate as it looks like it might get caught on the chest plate. Reference photos 3) TD sitting high on the belt. It should reside close to the center of the cloth belt. Simple fix would be to unroll the tube on the clips. This should center it better and force the control panel button away from the body rather than upward. Reference photo 4) As mentioned by one of your fell troopers the right thigh needs to be adjusted inward. You can correct that for Centurion. 5) Thigh ammo pack return edge excessive. The edge outside the ammo boxes should almost be flush with each other. A little trimming should do the trick. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only area of concern here is the ab to kidney gap. The CRL states ideally there's no gap and will have to be remedied before applying for Centurion. For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there is no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Reference photos That's it, again excellent job on your build, hope to see you at Centurion. Quote

fragarock[TK] Posted April 27, 2017 Author Report Posted April 27, 2017 Thanks for the feedback Tony. I really do appreciate it. I was just talking with Christine about a few of these issues and possible solutiins. I'll be making several tweaks in the coming weeks to my kit based on all the Great input I've received.
