Right! So I picked up these today, aside from the obvious (painting and cutting some parts here and there) what would I need to do to make these to centurion spec? That is if they are acceptable at all!

Have been! I picked mine up at the car boot for just £1 though!! So are they not acceptable under any circumstances?

Have a look for Chelsea boots. Picked mine up on ebay uk

Nope, you won't clear those at any level, would be my guess.

Not clearable but they will go quite nicely with a pair of jeans and a collared shirt.

Not a chance I'm afraid. Sole is wrong, elastic is wrong, toe shape is wrong.

 

A standard black leather chelsea boot is what you want which will then need to be dyed/painted white.

 

If you don't want to do this work your self then you can check out Imperial Supply Depot who do prepared boots ready to go.

Tkboots.com are fantasic as well and meet the 501st requirements. (Heel, elastic, sole, and no stiching or seam up middle, etc.) Good Luck.

Got mine from ISD , fast turnaround and they've been fine so far a few scuffs , but that just gives them that battle worn look
