Hovi Mesh

I will shortly be looking to do a build based on the 'Move along' helmet, but I am still unsure on the colour of the mesh on his hovi mic tips. In most of the pictures they look black, especially when compared next to the 'stop that ship' lid, but I can't be sure.

 

Would appreciate any advice as would like to get the finish as accurate as possible.

When replicating the move along helmet i painted my hovi' mesh black, thats how it seems to me in all the photo's available of this particular helmet.

Managed to look at some other pictures and spoke to someone who has seen the actual lid.

 

The mesh is black, as is the inside walls, only the bottom bits in the middle are white.
