Imagine this scenario.

In 20 or so years you'll be watching Antique Roadshow and someone will bring in TK armour to be appraised.

They'll go through the usual types and their possible values, but then I wonder what they'll say about upgrades.

Will there be a premium on suits that are most like the original props? (minimal outfitting and a green acetate strip), or will they judge all the extras (black helmet lining, fans, mics, extra outfitting) as a testament to the craft of trooping and decide it's more valuable?

Your thoughts?....

If history is any guide, it won't be worth anything. Unless you have something signed by the prop maker themselves. Armor gets better and cheaper each year.

I agree with Daetrin... Things have a way of being hot for a while and slowly fading. I would think screen worn stuff will always go high, but replicas, nah... The inside market of starwars collecting for fans like us will be here, but main stream, nada...

Now an autographed peice, thats a diffrent story... I am going to try very hard to get my JB Vader signed by the Skywalkers at CJ. Luke Leia and Vader. As its signed by JB, the sigs are where the value will be, not the peice. For me, Its never going anywhere... Right here on my shelf... LOL...

I can't see too much $$ in TK armor as a future collectable but who know's with these thing's

Going by today's antiques I would imagine as close to unaltered armor would command the cash, if any?

Having said that, screen used item's seem to demand fantastic prices. even in todays econmic slump, looking at the profiles in history catalogue, items would go even higher :( outa my reach

Sadly you wont be able to get Leia's autograph at CJ. She will no longer be attending.

Can you imagine if years from now people start displaying Trooper armor in there houses like you see in the old castles and mansions?
