ukswrath[Staff] Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 Hey Gareth welcome. Thank you for your patience and EI application. Lets get started. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Beautiful work on your build by the way. We have a few areas to mention here to help you look your best. Starting at the top and working our way down, the left ear on your helmet is off compared to the right side. Most people would even notice this. It won't effect any application but it is worth noting. It will take a little effort to move it but ultimately it's up to you whether you want to do it. Movie helmet reference photo Right ear Another area we mention quite often is the distance between the shoulder bells to shoulder covers and chest plate. We generally like to see this gap a little smaller. Tightening or shortening the upper connecting strap should do the trick. Reference photo Your blaster should have a loading lever. This appears to be a Hasbro blaster also which is perfectly acceptable for EIB. We ask if you choose to keep the blaster for EIB you add a lever to it. In the next segment "Centurion Suggestions" it will be noted the blaster is not excepted at Centurion and will need to be replaced. Reference photo Finally, it appears your cover strips are coming loose on your forearms. You might want to add some E6000 and clamps to the area before they come loose on you or get snagged on something. Centurion Suggestions: Because you have supplied a full Centurion level set of photos it has made this an easy process for suggestions and modifications. According to the CRL your drop boxes are to be aligned with the edge of the waist belt ammo box. Simply gluing the connecting strap in the areas indicated below should hold them in place. Reference. Even with Han hunched here over his drop boxes are still aligned. Lastly, as mentioned before the blaster unfortunately is not excepted at Centurion and will need to be replaced. The CRL states... For level three certification (if applicable): Hasbro blasters are not allowed, even conversions. That's it. Again, excellent work on your armor. Hope to see you at Centurion Quote
gwood1234[TK] Posted January 20, 2017 Author Report Posted January 20, 2017 Thanks UKSWRATH, you've made my day! I've already got the blaster kit ready to build so I'll be submitting for Centurion very soon. Regards G. Quote
