RLH2515[TK] Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 Who has the hookup for a Dring. Or have you found that something in everyday life can be used Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
RynoHawk[501st] Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 TrooperBay sells D rings. I made one out of a metal coat hanger. I don't know how that will fly on Level 2 or 3 approval though. Quote
Gizzy Trooper Posted January 11, 2017 Report Posted January 11, 2017 Made one from a plastic chain Cut off a link. Cut a piece off the link to fit on the block on the end of the blaster. Paint it black and glue in place Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
RLH2515[TK] Posted January 11, 2017 Author Report Posted January 11, 2017 I love the plastic chain I have plenty of that. My blaster didn't even have the block on the back so I'll have to make that as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
RLH2515[TK] Posted January 11, 2017 Author Report Posted January 11, 2017 I even had to fill a bunch of holes on the back from the bad molding from the dude who sold it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

kman[TK] Posted January 12, 2017 Report Posted January 12, 2017 50 cents worth of black lamp chain at Lowe's will buy you enough links to make ~12 d-rings. Just squish them a little more flat in a vise (or other creative solution) and cut a little bit off to get them onto the back connector block. Quote
Zaphod[TK] Posted January 12, 2017 Report Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) I used 2.5mm (3/32") brass rod and colored it black with a black sharpie. I bent it around a AAA battery. It worked fo my submission. I cut the rest of the rod into various lengths to add strength to some of the glue locations on my DoopyDoo E11. Edited January 14, 2017 by Zaphod 1 Quote
DamnitDavid[TK] Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 (edited) ---------- I used the ring from my doopy kit on my hyperfirm. So i needed to find a ring for my doopy kit. Home depot 68 cents a foot. I cut off a link to give to a friend for his hyperfirm and used a closed ring for my doopy kit. Edited April 2, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link removed no longer working Quote

SheaJeff[TK] Posted January 18, 2017 Report Posted January 18, 2017 this is what I ended up with. Yeah I know my scope is crappy it's in the works lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I bought a bag of 1" and 1/2" round little mirrors from Michaels for a couple of bucks and glued them to each end of the scope to cover up the raw material. Gave it more of a "glass" look. 1 Quote
