BrinkHouse Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 One of my favorite channels on YouTube, 'I Like To Make Stuff' recently did a video where he models, 3d prints, paints and finishes a shoretrooper helmet. I think he did a great job and I'm sure if he wanted to put the little bit of extra time in he could make this every bit as accurate as those seen in the film. I love seeing people make stuff and Bob is really talented. Hats off dude! 1 Quote

Auel Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 Just curious if you are able to get approval on a 3D printed helmet? Quote

themaninthesuitcase[Admin] Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 Just curious if you are able to get approval on a 3D printed helmet?Yes. There's one approved who designed some files for a full armour who's approved in the US, not sure which garrison. I have the files and they are really good and he's working on accuracy changes too. 1 Quote
sylverbard[TK] Posted December 17, 2016 Report Posted December 17, 2016 Just curious if you are able to get approval on a 3D printed helmet? If it looks right. Abs, fiberglass, 3d Print, basic approval should be fine. Quote
