humperdingle Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 Intimidating is good, isn't it?

Shorten the straps connecting to shoulder bridges to move them in a touch? Armour looks awesome 2 Quote

Armour looks awesome Agreed on all counts. I'm quite impressed with the AM 2.0 kit, and how it gives those of us who are north of 6' and 200lbs a great option. 1 Quote
magni[TK] Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 Looking sharp Brotha! Like they said bring them in a little on top. Besides that well done! 1 Quote
RLH2515[TK] Posted November 3, 2016 Author Report Posted November 3, 2016 Most excellent. Was hoping I didn't hear cut them bells down. Thanks for the kind words also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
RLH2515[TK] Posted November 4, 2016 Author Report Posted November 4, 2016 this is the back and the hole reason I just discovered that I cant bring in the bells. this is the front as you all most know lol. Clearly I'd have to cut some off the back plate to close the gap. Should I just take off to about here? seems like that will fix the issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
RLH2515[TK] Posted November 4, 2016 Author Report Posted November 4, 2016 seemed to work pretty well. I'll know more when someone is up to help me dress haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Artshot Posted November 4, 2016 Report Posted November 4, 2016 I am just about at this stage, my shoulder straps are attached to my chest piece, however they are not centred on the back plate area, which bugs me and my OCD :/ After looking at your photos it definitely looks like another quirk of AM2 armour. I have been thinking about boiling the back plate connections and gently squeezing them in, just doing a test with my hands and flexing the armour looks to do the trick without deforming the shape. Yay, more slightly poached hands. 1 Quote

troopermaster Posted November 4, 2016 Report Posted November 4, 2016 The size of the shoulder bells look perfect. Before trying to modify your back plate, could you try repositioning the shoulder bridges so the extend further outwards to match the back plate better? Quote

Leave the amount that is wider on the back plate on the inside by my neck ? Rather then on the outside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
troopermaster Posted November 5, 2016 Report Posted November 5, 2016 Exactly! But to be honest, I don't think the gap you have between your shoulder bells and chest is bad at all. I've seen worse. 1 Quote
RLH2515[TK] Posted November 6, 2016 Author Report Posted November 6, 2016 Well thank goodness I used E6000 cause I was able to remove and fix. Big +1 to a newbie use E6000 glue ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
