eFX Stormtrooper helmet reviewed

Hey guys,

For some it's old news, for some, they won't know what this is, but basically eFX is the new company founded by previous MR employee. Their first release is the Stormtrooper bucket, its due for July 8th, 2008.

Thanks for the link. From those pictures it looks pretty good. You're thread title is right, it's a whole lot like the MR bucket. I think the thing I do NOT like about it is simply that it's a hero version... and, of course, that's simply my preference.

 

I like that the traps are hand painted... and, most of all, I like the padding on the inside. If anyone buys one and hates that and rips it out I'll buy the padding off of you.

Nice find Turc. I think i agree Noel, i think a stunt would have been better aswell Just my opinion.

It may be just me but I find the look of their helmet to be innaccurate? The eyes seem wrong or something, I can't put my finger on it?

Are the tube stripes Black?? I thought it was well established by now that they were blue.

Looks like a solid bucket, i have never being into Hero buckets but i like this one

Its just the lightingg. They are blue - honest!

 

Its just theyre a dark blue (prob too dark)

i have an MR Hero Bucket and the stripes are blue...couple pics fresh out the box!!!!!!

lighting really does affect how the stripes look!!!!! i love my MR bucket, it may not look screen accurate but it does the job for me!!!!!!

I had a look, and economy shipping to the UK was $667

 

I could fly out myself and collect it by hand for that

Well,

 

Since shipping was economy 184$ or priority 240$, add 399$ for the helmet, around another 100$ of custom and broker's fees.

At over 700$ shipped to Canada, it was pretty easy to pass on the offer!

 

I'll probably need to find a fellow us buddy to buy stuff for me and ship them my way .. anyone?
