AlphaZulu[TK] Posted December 6, 2016 Author Report Posted December 6, 2016 So I have a bit of a punch list. I maintain have to rework my calves. I am going to ditch the Anovos Velcro system for something else. I might do the bra straps from Ukswrath if that is the most suggested. I have to shape it to the boot as well. That will help lower it The shoulder straps have since been moved back. They should "close" the shoulders now. I also want to talk about bending and shaping the ABS better. My posterior armor fans out a bit too much for my liking. How can I get it to bed in more. I don't think straps alone will keep it as form fitting as I would like. AlphaZulu[TK] Posted December 6, 2016 Author Report Posted December 6, 2016 Current punch list thighs are hitting his butt, and overlapping the shins. Trim the backs of the thighs and pull them up maybe 1/4"-1/2" (he has space in the front). Pull the shins down a little. Shape them to fit over the boot better Realign right shin Make sure shin opening are facing inside Shoulders could come in a little, and maybe rotate them forward slightly. Bring the biceps down a little. Make sure that you can see the straps around both biceps. rip the shoulder bridges off and move them higher on the chest. pull the belt down in the back, that could keep the butt in line. Be aware of gap between the kidney and butt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Your belt placement is fine, but you can tighten up the sides of the butt by immersing each side in near-boiling water for 5-10 seconds, gently bending them in to match the curve of your posterior, then "setting" the new shape by immersing it in a cool water bath. If you have a large enough container you can do it all at once, otherwise do it one side at a time. 1 Quote
AlphaZulu[TK] Posted December 6, 2016 Author Report Posted December 6, 2016 Thank you. I assumed that is what a "hot water bath" was but thank you for the instructions. Ukswrath mentioned it was in another one of his threads but I couldn't find what he was referring to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

AlphaZulu[TK] Posted January 26, 2017 Author Report Posted January 26, 2017 Question about rivets and shims. I have been getting mixed info from the boards. Since I am using shims do I need to place 3 more rivets across from my kidney rivets? They would only be for show. If so do I place them on my shim, or do I have to remove from my kidney and place the set between my shim and ab CRL states these are level 3 requirements. The reason I have them in the kidney was because I was going to use the strapping system but I abandoned it when I realized shims were needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
