gazmosis[501st] Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 Nice looking armor. Well built. I don't know if it is going to make a difference but "hero" handplates? Also, I'd find a way to eliminate the tape on your blaster. EIB should be an easy pass. I know the side gaps on your torso and a charging handle for your blaster will beed to be addressed for Centurion. Quote
sylverbard[TK] Posted October 4, 2016 Report Posted October 4, 2016 Right handed ? Those hand plates aren't stunt? Quote
YaY Pizza[TK] Posted October 6, 2016 Author Report Posted October 6, 2016 I plan on changing the latex hand plates and putting shims in before submitting for Centurion status. Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted October 7, 2016 Report Posted October 7, 2016 Looking good, Trooper! Like Steve said.. should be an easy pass for EIB. Those hand plates are referred to as "Hero" style. Not sure if they will fly for Centurion. On a side note, you should consider removing all weathering on the T-tracks of your E-11. As soon as you get your EIB approval, PM me: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38945-free-501st-decal-for-the-next-5-eibs/ Quote
YaY Pizza[TK] Posted October 9, 2016 Author Report Posted October 9, 2016 Switched from my other blaster to my new one, the other is my Sandtrooper E11, hence the weathering Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted October 11, 2016 Report Posted October 11, 2016 Hi Jay, nice build Could we please get a photo of the rear of your blaster showing the D ring. Many thanks and will be with you shortly Cancel that its already there Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted October 12, 2016 Report Posted October 12, 2016 Hi Jay!, thank you for your application time to get stuck into it. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Great work Jay, we see you have quite the collection of armour going on behind you Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few things to look at, the first two are simple adjustments, the remainder we will discuss in the Centurion section. Lets start at the shoulders, these can still come in a touch so if you want that screen accurate style the top of the bells should virtually touch the plastic shoulder bridges. The other adjustment looks to only be a dressing issue with your sniper shin. Just rotate it towards the center line of the thigh and it will be perfect. Reference images Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. There are a few things that will need change or adjustment as per the Lvl 3 CRLand also to have you looking near perfect so lets take a look. Looks like something funky is going on with your tube stripes. Yes they are meant to be hand painted but we do feel they need a re-do to even them up. Have you tried the stencils available on Trooperbay, many have had great success with them and apparently painting them white first before adding the blue alleviate the chances of the paint bleeding. Oh and nice upgrades to the Anovos Helmet, The Hovis and frown are what we like to see changed up from the original offering, the correct screws in your Thermal det didn't go unnoticed either One of the key points with Centurion is closing up the side aps between Ab and Kidney plates. There are two options, either undergo a strict regime of starving ones self (not my favorite option, as I like beer ) or make side shims and blend them in with ABS paste (the quicker and easier solution ) Currently you are at the absolute limit of what we can usually pass for EIB, so Shimming the Kidney plate is your friend. It is great to see you have some latex hand guards, but unfortunately they are the Hero style, and you have a Stunt build. Please replace with the correct type for a Centurion application reference for style of hand guard The image is slightly blury so It's tuff to gauge if the charging handle is on the correct way. It should curve towards the front of the E11, so we would ask for a clear set of images in your Centurion application to highlight it is in fact installed correctly. Overall this is a sweet build, with only a few steps to get you to Centurion. Follow the level 3 CRL and photo check list, make your adjustments and modifications, ans we expect to see a Centurion application from you in the future. Well done trooper, head on out and make your garrison proud Quote
