Chapaaz[501st]
My BBB came this morning with my RWA kit inside and i had to wait all day to crack it open with being on a 12hour shift (booooo ) Got in from work and i couldn't wait any longer to check out my new kit. I'm gonna try and get started tomorrow by sorting all the poppers into the strapping and rough trimming everything. Chapaaz[501st]
I thought there's no time like the present and started on my bucket. I don't think I've ever been so nervous in my life. Do the eyes look alrite or do I need to take more off around the edges? Troopacoola[TK]
Hi mate, I'd take more off. Heres how mine turned out. Chapaaz[501st]
I made a start on my frown today. Do I need to take any more off or am I good to move onto the ears. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Novak Dimon[TK]
Hi Kev, great kit you are building! Looking at pictures like yours makes me sad because I have no armor to build myself at the moment. According the question about the frown: I would open the two central teeth a veeery little more. Mainly at the top and bottom using needle files. All the best for your build! Chapaaz[501st]
Does all that look ok before I put the rivets in? Do I need to take some more off the edges where the ears sit also? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Hi mate. I didn't use the rivets on mine. I used small M3 bolts in case I needed to take it apart. You could always mark off and drill the holes and use one of the other bolts to hold it whilst you shape the ears. That way, if the ear doesn't cover the trim line and you need to trim further, then you can unbolt it. Once your happy and all fits, simply remove the bolt and rivet. Chapaaz[501st]
Well after a late night last night getting the ears and lid sorted ready for the lenses and painting today I'm happy with how the ears turned out after having to move and re drill because the ear moved up when I fitted it. Original fitting wasn't really happy with the gap. After re drilling and moving I'm happy with it now I got the lenses fitted this morning. And mics painted ready for fitting Kev C Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Chapaaz[501st]
I haven't posted any updates in a while been mainly posting on the uk garrison forum. So here's an update on what I've been doing. Got my biceps and shoulder bells trimmed and glued. I used a sharpened lolly pop sticks for the excess glue on the cover strips which worked a treat. Started gluing my forearms this morning While waiting for the forearms to dry I thought I would start trimming the belt and drop boxes and knee ammo boxes And that's pretty much where I'm upto now. I'm gonna trim my chest and back tonight and get the abs, kidney and butt done tomorrow. Kev

Chapaaz[501st]
Quick question. When I trim the chest I know I keep the returns to about 7-8mm on the bottom but on the sides of the chest do I leave any return? Cheers Kev Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
themaninthesuitcase[Admin]
I have about 5ish mm returns on the Chest, Ab, kidney and butt faces where they butt up.
Chapaaz[501st]
Right got the back plate and chest plate trimmed now time to start the abs, kidney and butt. Return edges Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Chapaaz[501st]
Ab buttons cut and glued. Had a bit of a rookie mistake when gluing the ab buttons at first. I forgot to take the cover plastic off the ab plate before sticking it down. Edited October 4, 2016 by Chapaaz
Chapaaz[501st]
Not a bad morning and got quite a bit done. Butt and kidneys trimmed and sanded ready to strap with the abs this afternoon, buttons are glued on the abs so I'll get them painted as well hopefully should have quite a bit of the torso done by tonight. Chapaaz[501st]
I'm having a bit of a mare with the kidney and ab brass rivets. I can't seem to get the poppers to connect because of the rivets sticking up over the poppers. I've tried to adjust 2 and they've snapped. How do I get around this?? As u can see I've snapped one on the abs and on the cod. [LOUDLY CRYING FACE] Edited October 8, 2016 by Chapaaz
