Davey_Palmer Posted August 9, 2016 Report Posted August 9, 2016 Hello, I am new to the community and i wanted to get started with getting a storm trooper suit. I was wondering if any experienced troopers could give any recommendations of where and what to buy as a starting point and first suit. Cheers, Davey Quote
humperdingle Posted August 9, 2016 Report Posted August 9, 2016 An idea of where you are and your intended budget would be good Quote

dejango[TK] Posted August 9, 2016 Report Posted August 9, 2016 You'll need to do some budget research and sizing, as well as choosing what episode you want your armor to be from because it can vary from maker to maker Quote
Davey_Palmer Posted November 9, 2016 Author Report Posted November 9, 2016 I am 1.58m and my budget is at maximum of about £700. I don't mind to much what film it is from but i would like a scout trooper suit. I am in the UK in Essex and i weigh just over 7 stone. Cheers Quote

DecipherTaughtMe Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 I can't decide between these (3) options: The Original Storm Trooper Hero Kit The Anovos Hero Kit The Anovos DIY Kit 6"1 Ft. tall, 180lbs Fit - Ecomorph The Original StormTrooper UK company seams the most legit, the Special Edition looks rock solid. I don't care yet about joining 501, as I' plan to do product reviews as a stormtrooper, and use costume to Cosplay . The Anovos $1800 has the best reviews, yet, the Original StormTrooper kit seams better for similar price The Anovos $450 DIY Kit - While this looks cheap, and fun to compile, I am by no means talented with my hands... and worried I might waste 450$ AND end up with a sub-par suit. My goal is to look the best, given my ideal frame, height I've read a large amount of articles, just looking for some last minute feedback prior to purchasing and diving in.... Thank you!!!! Quote
humperdingle Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 At 6'1", there are at least a couple of vendors who can provide extended TK shin pieces to help close-up gaps in the armour Quote
Jaltrooper Posted January 6, 2017 Report Posted January 6, 2017 You may want to consider getting a kit...and having someone build it for you. In any case...how the armor fits you is important for the "look" of the armor. I am 6'2 - 180...& I bought the AM 2.0 Kit and am building it myself. Just thought that may be an Avenue you wanted to examine. Quote
