Hey Chris thank you for your EIB application, lets get started.

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All submission photos are present. Great job on the prosthetics, however we do feel that there is not enough of the Drab olive weathering compared to past EI submissions and the CRL images. Without further delay, your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Congratulations!         :salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

In this section we review observations made by us and your fellow troopers. Suggestions made here are to improve the overall look of your armor .

If these suggestions would effect an application they will be mentioned in the above or below sections.

Excellent work with the prosthetics Chris from head to toe, literally, but we do have a few things to mention that will go a long way to making this Deathtrooper even better for a future Centurion application.

Starting with the accuracy points, the Anovos Hovi tips could have the mesh replaced to a slightly larger guage as in the reference photo below, maybe even some more weathering or a bit of damage would go down a treat.

I like the fact that you used to have a holster, torn off probably by the explosion that killed you originally, but perhaps dull down the shiney rivets so they look worn to match in with the rest of your look.

Centurion Suggestions:

In this section we try to point out all we can to make your armor as accurate as possible for a successful Centurion application. Because the Deathtrooper is a rare creature, this can be tricky and a little subjective.

Both Tony and I agree, that your armour can do with more weathering in the drab olive green colour. It looks quite white compared to applications in the past so we would really like to see you take this up a notch. As I mentioned in the above section, your prosthetics are excellent the crack and damage work are also first class, just needs some more dirtying up

You will also need to paint your side rivets white and add some weathering to those too.

Well, that's the ball game!, thanks again for a really solid build, and your the first Anovos Deathtrooper to boot.

See you in Centurion soon we hope. :jc_doublethumbup:

Thanks! Yep, Centurion's the plan. I'll get to dirtying those rivets.

As to the olive green - I actually was purposefully avoiding that color because it doesn't make a lot of sense. The armor itself doesn't get gangrene and rot. I wanted the weathering and damage to make sense so I was using dirt browns and soot blacks with some red blood spatters. Is there a reason behind the green? Seems a little 'fleshy'.

I believe the colour reference was to do with the limited artwork that was around for Deathtroopers. I guess green is a sick feeling colour and anything associated with rot probably lends itself to it. Perhaps it also represents mould growing on the armour from the rotting flesh beneath .

Olive is less green then drab grey green mustard. Putrescence makes things green. Gangrene is brown and black. Otherwise nice job. White rivets then weather. :-)
