LEGO-10236-Ewok-Village-Endor-Stormtroop

Has anyone ever tried to build a costume of a Lego stormtrooper?

I wonder how easy it would be...  The body seems pretty straight forward, but what about the helmet?

I saw some on the internet but the helmets all looked like paper mache and homemade. We need PLASTIC!

I would think you could use your regular bucket. The part that screams "LEGO" is the leg and chest... and perhaps the hands? Those would be the most important parts to nail, I'd think.

This would be cool. I thought I read a thread somewhere about somebody making full scale blasters based off of you versions. Basically taking the blaster shown here and scaling it up to life size.

There's a YouTube video of an f-11 made in Lego. Looks awesome.

I started a Darth Vader, then moved to a Clone trooper (thread on the main 501st boards). I just couldn't sculpt the head accurately so I gave up. I wouldn't have been happy unless it was 100% true to the lego form. Had bought a bunch of packets of 12mm foam camping mats for the body/legs. I'll maybe retry one day

G-man did an awesome Boba Fett in this thread.

Wow! Those are awesome. Definitely some incentive. I wish there was a build thread.
