SheaJeff[TK] Posted July 26, 2016 Report Posted July 26, 2016 Has anyone ever tried to build a costume of a Lego stormtrooper? I wonder how easy it would be... The body seems pretty straight forward, but what about the helmet? 1 Quote
SheaJeff[TK] Posted July 26, 2016 Author Report Posted July 26, 2016 I saw some on the internet but the helmets all looked like paper mache and homemade. We need PLASTIC! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
kman[TK] Posted July 26, 2016 Report Posted July 26, 2016 I would think you could use your regular bucket. The part that screams "LEGO" is the leg and chest... and perhaps the hands? Those would be the most important parts to nail, I'd think. 1 Quote
Rat[TK] Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 This would be cool. I thought I read a thread somewhere about somebody making full scale blasters based off of you versions. Basically taking the blaster shown here and scaling it up to life size. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk 1 Quote
sylverbard[TK] Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 There's a YouTube video of an f-11 made in Lego. Looks awesome. Quote

dejango[TK] Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 Seems like all you would need for a cheaper version is foam 1 Quote
SheaJeff[TK] Posted July 27, 2016 Author Report Posted July 27, 2016 I didn't think of foam. That would make it a lot easier to move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
I'm Batman[501st] Posted July 29, 2016 Report Posted July 29, 2016 I started a Darth Vader, then moved to a Clone trooper (thread on the main 501st boards). I just couldn't sculpt the head accurately so I gave up. I wouldn't have been happy unless it was 100% true to the lego form. Had bought a bunch of packets of 12mm foam camping mats for the body/legs. I'll maybe retry one day G-man did an awesome Boba Fett in this thread. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/18357-lego-star-wars-costumes/ 1 Quote
SheaJeff[TK] Posted July 29, 2016 Author Report Posted July 29, 2016 Wow! Those are awesome. Definitely some incentive. I wish there was a build thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
