obiwanboydy
Hey All I've got quite a lot of hot glue on my AP shoulder straps that i would like to take off. I tried heating the glue up with a hair drier but it just got all horrible and now it's every where!! Is there any way to remove this stuff? kiyotei[TK]
I'm surprised that did not work. I used a heat gun. I then used goo be gone on it. It came right off as I recall. Though my glue was on the inside so I was not worried about any scratches I might make. Try goo be gone.
tk9323
You could put it in the freezer for a while and the glue should come right off. I did this with my TD to remove the plate.

SuperTrooper
Dried. Freeze it and a little tug and it should pop right off.
carbonitekid
Spray it with Mr Sheen /Pledge. Let it soak for 10 mins. Peel straight off. Used this method dozens of times.
Gypsyboy
Have you tried rubbing alcohol? You may have to let it sit a spell to get underneath and release the grip of the glue. Once you get it started you can gently pull it up and use a Q tip to dab further under it.
Marvinrobot
I rubbed it under hot water...really hot water
Thumper[TK]
I've used Goo Gone. Loosens it up and won't hurt the ABS. Don't confuse this with Goof Off though. Goof Off will eat ABS.

Any citrus based goo remover will work...he's right about Goof Off, don't use that. I tried that on my FX lid a few years ago and it damaged it.
