TK4205 Posted June 24, 2016 Report Posted June 24, 2016 I've seen lots of PVC pipe mannequins posted up, but I haven't seen this yet and thought I'd share it. Just came up with this idea when I saw a new type of 1-1/4 end cap at Home Depot. The poses are endless. I'll post more pics when it's done, but you get the idea from the pics. [/uR I cut 1/2 inch lengths of 1-1/4" to use as rotater cuffs for the joints. Lot more solid with the cuffs. 7 Quote
zemzero Posted June 25, 2016 Report Posted June 25, 2016 This is absolutely perfect. I'm just finishing up my own duck tape mannequin and was trying to figure out how to make a flexible frame. Some of the better ideas come in the simplest forms. Quote

hupspring[TK] Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 This is a really cool mannequin. I may redo mine using this technique. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted June 28, 2016 Report Posted June 28, 2016 Wow! How much did it cost to make this thing? Quote
TK4205 Posted June 28, 2016 Author Report Posted June 28, 2016 Aside from the pipe, which I already had, about $20 in hardware. Quote
zemzero Posted July 3, 2016 Report Posted July 3, 2016 Did you glue the pipes on, or let them stay there by friction? Wondering how you would tighten the screws if they became loose from moving the limbs around. Quote
