TX-8687[501st] Posted June 15, 2008 Report Share Posted June 15, 2008 when i piece together my lid for taping up/preping...it doesn't go all the way around, like it's not round!!!!! it's very wide and it seem like the dome would better fit sideways...lol!!!!! how can i fix this???? it's almost as if the two helmet pieces are too flat, not roundish....make sense????? You can see a picture of mine all taped up for gluing on this post on my website. (About the 11th picture from the end.) It took me 4 hands (in other words HELP) to get it to fit inside correctly... but once you get it and glue it it will stay put. The only thing I'd suggest is make sure the front overlaps the back. That way the gap is only visible "behind the ears" from the back of the bucket and not the front.
