Hi all watching this...

So i want to build a nice ROTJ E-11 Blaster..

I'm starting with a good base, wich is a mgc..

Now it is in very good condition, and i would like to keep it that way.

So i'm gone work with strong Neodymium magnets to attach the greeblies. (they come in all sizes and strenght, and was blown away by andy's power cylinders magnets)

And creating a look to it like it's stuck on there with them pop nails for the T-tracks for example.

Same i will be doing with the Scope rail. ''Drill holes under it, and insert some nice strong magnets flush.

Euhmm, so where do i start with greeblies ?

Ofc, having a aluminium scope rail, and perhaps some more metal parts, are more then welcome :)

Solid base man, subbing to this one. Looking forward to seeing photos as this progresses. Good luck trooper!

Very nice piece.

Like Vern said above you can try sskunky. For metal parts that is a bit more difficult though

That's a very good start indeed! It reminds me that I'm at the exact same point with my MGC, so I'll be following your progress with interest ;)

I've got reply for you from BobaDebt, see the PM

Awesome JKNO, thank you for guiding me in a direction..

I was able to get in contact with him, and working things out atm...

The parts would take ''a couple of months''.

But that's ok :) i could play with some other parts in the meantime, and dip my head into info about this particulair blaster.

Cheers, Sergiu..

Will keep you posted on FB, or here..

Well, not much is happening atm from the persons i've contacted thus far ..

Bobadebt from RPF is now backing out so it seems. (vague e-mails)

So i'm still looking for parts. :)

As you can see good parts for a ROTJ blaster are quite rare, rarer than ANH E-11 parts. You can get relatively easy a (real) Hengstler counter, good cylinders, accurate t-tracks (4-5 options here) or (real) M-type scope, but it's much harder to get good and especially metal parts for a ROTJ E-11. :(

I don't know if you're already aware but you can start looking for an air pistol "Panther RO 72 Bullseye" as its rear sight is a found part used on the scope rail for the ROTJ E-11.

These air pistol were made in Italy and aren't too hard to come by. In the course of half a year I have seen two selling. One in not working condition for 20€, and the other in an almost pristine condition with original box and air pellets for 40€.

The gun itself is used by many of jabba's guards. It's the one Luke draws from a guards holster when in front of jabba. Or when Han shoots at the Sarlacc.

Also the base gun for Kanada Jahres in Rebels.

You don't say :D

I love them allready..

Thnx to The5thHorseman for pointing it out.

I would be glad with one alone..

What i do like very much, is that once the rear sight is gone, it looks like you can make it look like a jaba's blaster with out that taken away piece right ?

So do all of these models carry the same rear sight?

Or is there difference in between them apart from color ?

I remember somewere reading, that Umarex made these aswell ?

Wich is a German company.

Can't wait to see what i'm dealing with ... it comes with 500 shooting thingy's ...

Not even sure what it is or how they look :P

I'm just really opping for that rear sight, but a Jaba blaster is a nice bonus.

It will be a nice addition...

Various European companies made them,
Aye, as well the jabba palace guard as the Kanan Jarrus are built without the original rear sight.

Most of my rear sights are slightly different. But the base that is needed for the ROTJ is on all the same.

Well, i got the first part in :)

Took the rear sight off, and putted the un-needed parts in a ziplock bag.

That's one thing of the many other greeblies i can mark off the list.

Appriciate the help thus far. :jc_doublethumbup:

More help, is more then welcome :)

It's a NcStar RB-17 correct ? (feel free to help me find one)

''It is a medium profile 1” scope ring with a 3/8” clamp designed for 22lr rifles and paint ball guns''

I love it :D

Thank you for the clear detailed picture ;)
