Smiling Fox[TK] Posted May 22, 2016 Report Posted May 22, 2016 Maker of Things is a known recaster. His items are worthless and there have been multiple complaints lodged against him. You don't want to buy from him. 1 Quote

gazmosis[501st] Posted May 22, 2016 Report Posted May 22, 2016 There is not enough bad things that can be said about the quality of his armor. It is stolen molds and the plastic is SO bad I cannot understand how anyone could buy from him. Sadly, I speak from experience in seeing other members' purchases first hand 1 Quote
Dark PWF[Staff] Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 Just in case you haven't seen it enough already, MakerOfThings = RecasterOfThings. Stay far, far, away. Quote
AWOL Posted May 25, 2016 Report Posted May 25, 2016 Having seen 1st hand (I own 1 soon to be 2) the RS buckets AND held the faceplate mold at RS inspecting it myself I'd say without doubt this is a recast of an RS bucket... the force? oh I'll use the force, bring me a hammer... Quote
cheesewhoopy[501st] Posted May 30, 2016 Report Posted May 30, 2016 To be honest I have makerofthings! armor and an ATA helmet. At the time of purchasing I didn't know anything about recasters and I didn't even know whitearmor.net existed to ask questions about it. I had done so much research looking at pictures of TKs from a new hope I just thought his kit looked accurate so I bought it. His pulls are pretty good and I got approved for 501st with his kit BUT that being said it is definetly not the best of the best. After recently doing my first troop and looking at other members armor mine is very brittle in comparison. I have had to add lots of support in places to prevent any cracks or splits as the plastic is so thin. I've already had to replace the legs and shins with better ones. I eventually plan on buying another kit from a more reputable person. Anyway I wouldn't buy from him again. Quote
magni[TK] Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 Hey Aaron! Glad to troop with you on your first troop. I didn't know that was recasterofthings. We'll get you fixed up trooper. Quote
