Just a heads up to anyone that is interested in FOTK armor.
There is a FB page called FOTK Armor Shop....
This Asshat is a RECASTER stay away at all costs!!!!
He is trying to sell again on FISD, He redacted his sales post on 501st main after being called out.

Yeah, a user name would be awesome, I've been aware of a few suspected recasters popping up talking about selling, but haven't seen a thread actually get started that I can think of. Thanks for the heads-up.

Posting some info I got from digging around. I commented on that thread after following it a few days and it got locked less than an hour later.

 

 

Something does not feel right and I can not let it go. 

 

Peter O'tool. 

 

That is not a common name and I have never once seen it without an e at the end (Irish family on my dad's side). Other than the famous actor Peter O'toole it's rarer than most, the name was also being thrown around like a shield so I did some digging.

 

Supposedly Peter owns a vacuum forming plant in Thailand except when I found the supposed man .

He is supposedly from and still lives in Ireland. Why does he have a pool vacuum forming plant in Thailand?

Add that to a Facebook page so bare of photos and personal detail other than Star Wars stock images that I am only left to suspect foul play

 

I proceeded to gather all I could

The same images are used consistently over and over across the facebook group, Whitearmor and the store.

there is no mention of the seller and the contact page only lets you enter your info with no direction to where it is going.

 

Went so far as to look up every registered Peter O'tool in Ireland.

There are none in Carlow. And more strangely yet none even listed as "O'tool" only "O'toole".

Sorry for the delay, Here are the pics of my molds and a few pulls as well as his for comparison.

notice the botton edge, it has a sharp corner (Anovos is rounded)

Notice the different angles where the yoke attaches,

Notice how his yoke is attached to the back. The reason for that is since he got first pulls off my molds I was un able to check fit. I had to completely remake the yoke to fit properly. Also if any of you built the Anovos armor, you know there should be a return edge for the shoulder strap to pass through. He had to completely remove it to make it flexable enough for the chest to attach.   The reason I know this is that is how I found out I had to remake the yoke mold.

While confronting this guy( on 501st main, Here, FB groups  Captian Phasma Costumers, Star Wars Costumes and Cosplay, and Replica BST Blacklist, who calls himself Peter o"Tool is actually Wachilapat Intuputi  CO of the thailand garrison, he would never answer any of my questions,   tried to defend himself by posting the same 4 pics, a 3d chest render, a Supposed aluminum chest mold, and a couple pics of pieces being CNC'd.  

Also claiming that we were working from the same references that is why the pieces look the same......

As you can see all of my molds are made from MDF which I hand sculpted and used bondo to smooth out. He refuses to show pics of his molds.......

If this is not a blatant case of recasting, I do not know what is, pics do not lie, I love the internet, everything posted is there forever!!!!!!!
