Tank Killer Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 I am looking at installing a motorcycle helmet liner into my bucket. I would like to know if anyone else has also used a motorcycle liner and if so what brand/ style liner did you use? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk Quote
pandatrooper[TK] Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 Too hot, limits air flow in my opinion. Stick to tried and true solutions. Star foam, foam blocks, sports helmet inserts etc. 1 Quote

SheaJeff[TK] Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) How about these foam pieces for tactical helmet?---------- Edited January 4, 2021 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
Tank Killer Posted May 2, 2016 Author Report Posted May 2, 2016 Those look like they might work thanks. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 I just went with the foam leaf design with a block of foam either side of my ears, allows lots of air flow and the blocks of foam stops the helmet moving around. You can also remove the foam as it's attached with Velcro if it needs a wash. Quote
pandatrooper[TK] Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 I personally think military helmet padding is too hard / firm for a thin plastic helmet IMO.

Just go for one of the simplefoam options
I've used ProTec skateboard helmet padding OK n a few helmets, they seem to work well. DarthShinzu[501st] Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 I went with trooperbay's hard hat insert. Was not that expensive and he has a tutorial video on how to insert it into your helmet. Go to www.trooperbay.com to find it. Quote
