zv288bot[TK] Posted May 13, 2016 Author Report Posted May 13, 2016 (edited) Should the inner drop box be flush with the edge of the outer? Does it matter much? Here is my current view... Hand sanding is for the birds... Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk Edited May 13, 2016 by zv288bot 1 Quote

zv288bot[TK] Posted May 15, 2016 Author Report Posted May 15, 2016 (edited) Ok. It's time to make the nylon snap plates while I am waiting for the glue to dry on some of the other parts. So, I made a very complicated jig that exhausted my mathematical abilities. I have extensively documented it in every detail for you. There you have it. zv288bot[TK] Posted May 15, 2016 Author Report Posted May 15, 2016 (edited) Ok... so this little anvil is supposed to be pumping out snaps?!? I move the process to a real anvil in the garage and got these done is a few minutes. Sent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk Edited May 15, 2016 by zv288bot 1 Quote
ComradeDave[TK] Posted May 16, 2016 Report Posted May 16, 2016 Nice work! I didn't size the panel for my TD look like that's a redo too Quote
Pyrates[TK] Posted May 16, 2016 Report Posted May 16, 2016 All is looking great - keep it up mate! 2 Quote
ComradeDave[TK] Posted May 16, 2016 Report Posted May 16, 2016 Actually don't listen to me lol. THe AP TD panel fits pretty nicely without trimming there isn't a specified set of dimensions for the caps or panel just approximations. If it looks screen accurate you're golden! 2 Quote

zv288bot[TK] Posted May 18, 2016 Author Report Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) I also worked on the knee belt. I searched for a bit trying to find some idea of how to cut the curved part out. I remembered seeing something really cool and easy once but couldn't find it for the life of me. I ended up going with this and maybe this was it? If not, it's to late now!?! zv288bot[TK] Posted May 18, 2016 Author Report Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) When in doubt I always search one of Tony's (ukswrath) threads and realize another level of attention to detail that I'm forgetting. Looking at his straps in his AM thread I decided to trim some of the extra off these straps. I think it looks better. Left side done, right side to go.
