Try out Anovos velcro strapping method for breast and back plate connection. It is very clumsy and require constant readjustment. I am totally convinced that snap or canon braketing are way better.

Note: These small clamps are useless.

I need additional big clamps and magnets. Lots of magnets.

 

Right bicep plastic strip glued with E6000.

Left bicep only back side glued. I am out of clamps and magnets.

Try my hand with snaps. Additional snap that i obtained are not Line 24. Got mixed result. The female parts look secured. I made a mistake on the male part. I installed it upside down.

Making male snap base:

Take big scrap from breast plate.

Mark 1"x1" squares.

 

Cut the squares. Make 4 piece with 1"x2". This for breast plate armor to back plate.

 

 

Put in male snap poles to the base.

Shoulder elastic:

Cut two piece of 2" width elastic. Cut into 10" each. Mark 1" from each end.

Fold 1" from each end. Hold temporary with pin.

I ask for my mother in law to machine sew the folded elastic.

I mark with pencil 2 point where I will make holes for female snaps.

Take measurement of the Anovos TK belt.

Holster holes not align with backing velcro.

Rough measurement taken before i decide what to do next.

Ahmad, just wanted to reassure you that you're on the right track. You may end up wanting to add additional straps towards the end of the butt plate to keep it from sticking out.

Bought an inflatable mannequin for me to have third person view of the armor myself.

 

Wear the WIP armor to it.

 

Place order for pair of boot size(42eu/9us/8uk) from imperialboots.com . I waiting for the boots to arrive before I glue the shin plates.

Thermal Detonator

 

The grey pipe supplied by Anovos is exactly 190mm. I remove 2mm from each end of the pipe. After fit up with end caps, thermal detonator overall length is 186mm.

For the screw for metal clips, i cannot find #6 pan head slotted screw. The closest i can find is with a philips head. The screw head will be painted black later.
