Unfortunately, Stuart, most photos were posted on here using Photobucket.  It seems they got sort of greedy and held everyone's accounts "hostage" unless they paid for them, sad to say.

Many of us have changed to imgur (https://imgur.com/).  It is REALLY easy to use (even for someone as tech challenged as myself) and costs nothing.

Can't we just upload directly to the site and not need to host?

You can add attachments through the forum, but there are size/quality caps (otherwise hosting costs would probably be quite a bit more $), so external image hosting is the way to go.

Hi Stuart,

 

I am using Imgur in order to upload photos here in the forums. Just create an account via Imgur then upload away. Click insert other media on the lower right of this screen then choose insert image from url.  Use the direct link of that photo from imgur and paste it there. And you are done! I hope that helps.
