scottlox Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 TFA trooper with vest, stock and also wearing a backpack in the chase scene with Rey, anyone have any pics of the backpack at all ? Quote
djrue[TK] Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 Also look very similar to the the new snowie packs Quote
The5thHorseman[501st] Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) Same one as the Snowtroopers. It's beautiful beast. ---------------- Edited March 8, 2021 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2021 1 Quote

Billhag Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) There should be some nice clear pics start to surface now its released on download & Blu-Ray, but in the meantime here's a few references gathered together over the last year Edited March 8, 2021 by gmrhodes13 photos updated gmrhodes13 2021 Quote
scottlox Posted April 3, 2016 Author Report Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) That's what I'm looking for, thanks mate. Hopefully we will see how it attaches. Edited April 3, 2016 by scottlox Quote
v7sg[TK] Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 I have the Hot Toys version, so I can take some pictures from the backpack (I know its not entirely accurate, but it helps). In the figure the backpack attaches via magnets. A friend of mine and I came to the conclusion that the "logical" way to attach it is in the grooves the back has Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 Dang and I though wearing the vest was cumbersome, now I have to get a backpack? 1 Quote

Just a thought 3 Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 Now that I think about it there's two unused buckles at the top backside of my vest, wasn't sure what they were used for, now I think I do. 2 Quote
v7sg[TK] Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 I think you are up to something Tony... I'll be home in a few minutes so I'll take those pictures of the figure 1 Quote
v7sg[TK] Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 here are the pictures: Hope they help! Quote
scottlox Posted April 3, 2016 Author Report Posted April 3, 2016 I agree with Tony, I'm going to attach it via the gunners vest straps. 1 Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 here are the pictures: Hope they help! Well, kinda. They do give us a bit more insight to the backpack itself but as we've seen with the toys they haven't been quite accurate. Until we get some close ups or behind the scenes shots it's anyone's guess. TK-Sonic[TK] Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 Been looking at this since day one and Agreed. Same snowtrooper backpack is used.
Also think connecting it to the vest is a good idea.
No reason to wear the back pack without the vest anyway.
Now we wait to see the master of TFA Modifications, to make this happen. :-) Quote

Get me a back pack and consider it done Quote
The5thHorseman[501st] Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 Snowtroopers wear the backpack without the ammo vest, so I don't think this is how it is strapped. Also the Hot Toy's backpack is extremely accurate for a toy. Only the plate facing the back isn't much accurate. Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 I think he was referring to the HGT. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk Quote
