Tolo[TK] Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 Hello troops, I went to my local hobby store to buy some paint. I haven't bought some in a while. The guy told me that French Blue 2715 does not exist anymore and is replace with 1110TT. It's a bit darker than the 2715. He redirected me towards Tamya Sky Blue X-14. Anyone had this problem? Thanks, Eric P.S. I did not wanted to take Humbrol paint. I think their blue is bit to "greyish" for me. Quote
Dark PWF[Staff] Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 For the French Blue, I used Model Masters 4659 (made by Testors). 1 Quote

illusionz_09[TK] Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 you can always order it from trooperbay.com https://trooperbay.com/costuming-supplies/painting.html he is always offering the French Blue. Quote
=Sv3=[TK] Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 Hey Eric! Bobo here on the boards pointed me towards Ted's Hobby shop in Pointe Claire. Much better selection and customer service then Hobbieville. I used to go there but it always feels like you're bothering the guy and the shelves are pretty bare. Every time I went there, I could only get half of what I needed, not such a good shopping experience... Quote
aliens8us Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 Thought we're supposed to be using Blue angel for the buttons? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Penguitrooper Posted April 12, 2016 Report Posted April 12, 2016 I bought the 1110 gloss blue. Is that too blue for the buttons? Or even the stripes? If not, I'll keep it. If so, I'll see about getting it from TB. Quote

ComradeDave[TK] Posted May 2, 2016 Report Posted May 2, 2016 I also used this one. For the French Blue, I used Model Masters 4659 (made by Testors). Quote
