Hello troops,

I went to my local hobby store to buy some paint. I haven't bought some in a while. The guy told me that French Blue 2715 does not exist anymore and is replace with 1110TT. It's a bit darker than the 2715. He redirected me towards Tamya Sky Blue X-14.

     Anyone had this problem?

Thanks,

Eric

P.S. I did not wanted to take Humbrol paint. I think their blue is bit to "greyish" for me.

For the French Blue, I used Model Masters 4659 (made by Testors).

Hey Eric! Bobo here on the boards pointed me towards Ted's Hobby shop in Pointe Claire. Much better selection and customer service then Hobbieville. I used to go there but it always feels like you're bothering the guy and the shelves are pretty bare. Every time I went there, I could only get half of what I needed, not such a good shopping experience...

I could take a drive to the west side.

I bought the 1110 gloss blue. Is that too blue for the buttons? Or even the stripes? If not, I'll keep it. If so, I'll see about getting it from TB.

I think it's a bit darker, but, I could be completely wrong.
