Sentry71[TK] Posted June 8, 2016 Report Posted June 8, 2016 The second set of pics works well. That gap is barely there. I think you are ready to move on. Quote
Daz0128[TK] Posted June 9, 2016 Author Report Posted June 9, 2016 ok here are a few pics of bucket fully assembled well without the lenses/ decals/ and painted. ANY and all critiques is welcomed. This helmet in the photos is practice helmet since AP doesnt make a hero helmet. Still think its good if i was doing a anh stunt 2 Quote
Sentry71[TK] Posted June 9, 2016 Report Posted June 9, 2016 Great work on minimizing gaps on the ears. Can't wait to see how you do on the Hero. 1 Quote
Daz0128[TK] Posted June 9, 2016 Author Report Posted June 9, 2016 Took the day off from work to head to a fellow garrison members house to work on my TK Hero. Even tho its only gona be like a 4hr session i really dont have much left to do besides the fitting and strapping system. I hope to get pics to upload here later today. Quote
Daz0128[TK] Posted June 21, 2016 Author Report Posted June 21, 2016 more work was done today. almost all pieces are glued besides the chest pieces. waiting for the glue to dry sucks. we ran all cover strips little past the edges because i know im gonna have to grind off the ends because of being small. Daz0128[TK] Posted June 22, 2016 Author Report Posted June 22, 2016 thanks. just only concern with centurion wiith the shins. im gonna do velcro on the inside. do i still need a cover strip on the back of the leg Quote
ABS80 Posted June 22, 2016 Report Posted June 22, 2016 (edited) You removed way too much material on the hook section of the ears throwing off the helmet look, no movie helmets had thin ears like that. Here's how properly trimmed ears should look, and do not trim any bigger the frown holes they are at their limit! If you need replacement ears let me know I can even trim them for you Mark (AP) Edited June 22, 2016 by ABS80 Quote
Daz0128[TK] Posted June 22, 2016 Author Report Posted June 22, 2016 helmet in this thread is stunt and is only for display. i havent touched the real helmet for the hero yet. Quote

It will be a little wider than the cover strip on the front. Quote
Daz0128[TK] Posted June 23, 2016 Author Report Posted June 23, 2016 Here are 2 set of mic tips i got. 1 pair if from authentic prop and the other is troopermaster. Yes i know the white one needs to be painted black. which one is BEST for centurion ? Quote
Daz0128[TK] Posted June 23, 2016 Author Report Posted June 23, 2016 Ok i have 3 sets of gloves. All 3 are 100% rubber / chemical glove. trying to figure out which glove to put latex guards on. Also whats the best way to attach the rubber guards.Glove #1 Nothing on the top of the fingers.Glove #2 has grip on top of fingers. Also i would paint them black to make darker. they look grey in person.Glove #3 need to cleaned/ washed. Quote
Sentry71[TK] Posted June 23, 2016 Report Posted June 23, 2016 For the mic tips, either one should work for Centurion. The mesh is different, but not too far off on either one. Go with your preference. For the gloves, I used a set similar to #1, and used super glue to attach the hand guards. 1 Quote
