greyfox Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Hi, Im looking forward to buy a dlt-19. Since Im in Germany I cant buy from HFX and in general its very expensive to buy from overseas. I found this guy on facebook, he sells a lot of Star Wars weapons and he does it from Belgium, so no import taxes for me His website is here: http://www.procoprint3d.com/#!star-wars-props/cqdjs I think he 3d prints his guns. Is this a negative point? Also has anyone made experiene with his prop guns and can tell me how they are and/or provide some close up shots? Thanks in advance! Quote
Cladius Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 I have never bought from him but from what I can see, his stuff looks very good. I really was tempted to purchase the Clone Trooper rifle, since I have wanted one for so long. Quote
kman[TK] Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 I believe the main concern with 3D blasters, assuming they're otherwise accurate, is durability. Like resin, if you drop it on a hard surface you may not have a blaster anymore. Quote
greyfox Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 Yes youre right...but I guess you have that problem with every blaster except hyperfirm blasters...and they wont ship to europe. Is there anyone else who makes these rubber blasters? Gesendet von meinem Nexus 5 mit Tapatalk Quote

Is there anyone else who makes these rubber blasters? The only other store I've seen mentioned that makes hard rubber E-11s (along the line of Hyperfirm) is THG Props on Etsy. Downside is they're only raw kits which need assembly, an amount of work, and painting. https://www.etsy.com/shop/THGProps There's a 10% off orders over $50 promo right now, too, coupon code EAST1610. I've never seen one in person so can't compare, but it does at least look quite good, and I've seen the name mentioned here on FISD here and there. (without cursing, which is a good sign!) The store says they ship worldwide. Good luck! Option #2 is simply to find a friend in the US who can forward the shipment to you. (I assume there are no legal issues with shipping fake rubber weapons?) Edited March 29, 2016 by kman Quote
Lichtbringer Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Dlt and from Germany - what is your budget?

I bought the all metal from ZIB Militaria,Hamburg. Quote
greyfox Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 @kman I heard from THG props but right now im looking for a dlt 19 and they sadly dont have that. Beside that the shipping and customs is soo expensive... @Lichtbringer: hmm I didnt plan to pay much more than 300-350€.... I assume a metal dlt is much over that limit, right? Lichtbringer Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Not much over that, I paid 429,- (http://www.zib-militaria.de/MG-34-mit-Zweibein-Vollmetall-Modell, atm sold out) And only 7-8,- for shipping inside Germany, no big shipping charge + customs. If you are interested, here is my thread: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/34882-my-new-dlt/ Edited March 29, 2016 by Lichtbringer Quote
greyfox Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 Well I think I would pay that price for a metal+alu version...looks like I have to wait for it to come back in stock! Gesendet von meinem Nexus 5 mit Tapatalk Quote

greyfox Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 Agreed, hope this thing goes back in stock soon! Quote
Lichtbringer Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Just mail them and ask. Maybe they can put you on a restock-list, to ensure to get one before they are sold out again. Quote
greyfox Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 Will do that, thank you! Gesendet von meinem Nexus 5 mit Tapatalk Quote

It requires some modifications and must be sanded and painted. But it looks good. Edited May 19, 2016 by TK-74122 2 Quote
