BlayneFitz[TK] Posted March 14, 2016 Author Report Posted March 14, 2016 I have a bit of tweaking to do such as replace the internal rigging. For now I am using the Anovos system as it allows me to play around with it a bit to see what fits right and it holds up fine. I also intend on re-gluing some of the cover strips and such to make them tighter. Another future change i want to make is a new, sturdier belt definitely. But for now I can say it is finished and my first troop will be in the Belfast St. Patrick's day parade! 1 Quote
T K[501st] Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 One thing if you are shooting for Centurion is that you will need to paint the rivets white, but for EIB it's fine. But looking good! Quote

PGHtrooper21 Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Besides painting the 6 'Split Rivits' on the side White, I would replace the Phillips Screws on the "T.D" with "Slotted "Pan Head" Screws", and paint them Black. Otherwise GREAT JOB!!!!! Andy 1 Quote
Superbee[TK] Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Looks really good ! one thing that is that the cover strips on the rear thigh maybe too high, it's extending past the armor . But you did mention that you are redoing some cover strips . 1 Quote

I notice a lot of people's strips contour with the flow of the armour at the edges Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk Quote
68Brick[TK] Posted March 15, 2016 Report Posted March 15, 2016 Previous comments are spot on. Tune those things up and you'll be EIB & Centurion bound! Good Work! 1 Quote

ukswrath[Staff] Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 Hey Blayne, thank you for your EIB application CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been posted. Your armor meets all requirements for Expert infantry, welcome and congratulations! . Great job on your build Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:In this section, we review suggestions made by your fellow troopers and our own observations. All go towards improving the final look of your armor. Though none of following suggestions will not effect your EIB status most, if not all will be required to be updated if you choose to apply for Centurion. Nothing to add here. Centurion Suggestions: The ultimate accuracy at Centurion is up to the Trooper however, we see no reason why you should not aim for the top, especially since your armor build is very nice. The following suggestions and requirements are to prepare you for the Centurion if you choose to apply for it. 1) Cover strips tool long. In multiple areas your cover strips are too long and extend past the edge of your armor. They should end with the armor. Easy fix Reference photo 2) Ab to Kidney left rivets need to be painted. The left side rivets are required to be painted for Centurion. Easy fix Reference photo 3) Tip of frown missing. For ANH Stunt the frown should extend outside the tooth area. We are requesting you add this being it will be required at the Centurion level. 4) Ear screws inaccurate. The ear screws are supposed to be "V" shaped. Anovos supplied are pan head. Were requesting you replace these screws. Reference photos 5) Thermal Detonator screws inaccurate. The TD clip mounting screws should be pan head and slotted. I've found the ear mounting screws will work perfect for this so, if you choose to replace the ear screws then you'll have screws needed for the TD. Just paint them black and your golden. Reference photo 6) This is the most difficult request. We commend you for making the required EIB belt modifications for ANH Stunt however, the cloth portion of the belt still does not meet Centurion requirements and we're requesting you replace it with one that is more screen accurate. There are a couple suppliers out there, TKittle for example. You can find them in the sales section. There's also a couple tutorials illustrating how to replace it if you're not sure how to perform this modification. Judging by your build this shouldn't be too difficult for you. That's it. Again, congratulations on your EIB and hope to see you at Centurion. 1 Quote
