I got my RS kit yesterday and they have already started trimming the flash of all the parts which I thought was quite a help. So I thought I would start with the thighs as I'm 2inchs shorter than the actors I thought this could be a problem. I kind of had a basic fiting and realised that the return edge was hindering a good measurement. So I was wondering what is the right amount of return that should be left? Then I thought about the rest of the parts is there a basic amount or does it varie through out the kit? <br>

I hope this makes sense? Cheers guys.

The return edges on the top of thighs can definitely be completely removed, Ade.  Some of the other places you can safely remove it, like the wrist openings, bottom of the calves, sides of the chest plate, etc., and some places you need to leave it, like the top of the butt plate, bottom of the back plate, bottoms of the thighs and top of the calves, et al.  The best thing to do is look at some of the builds, and also look at the EIB and Centurion submission photos.  This will give you a better idea of what to leave and what to remove, and if you can, always try to add photos.  It will make it much easier to get a response, and give us a better idea of how to help you out.  Best of luck on your build, and feel free to ask any more questions you may have!.
