I reported on my find a short while back and as promised, here is a tutorial on how to make these yourself if you choose. The total cost for me was 6.00 dollars and very easy to make, once I got the kinks out that is.

Start with the 1/4 inch angle stock from plastruct. Evergreen sells the same product however the lenghts are smaller and will cost double. The plastruct comes in 24 inch lenghts and cost 1.50 per stick. You will need 4 total.

now comes the tricky part that I had to work out. First I tried to heat, then bend. didn't work. Then I decided to make a jig using some washers are screws. Very simple and all you need to do is build it around the  shape of the track. Once I built my jig, I heated the track up once more, then put it in the jig, however still didn't work. finally I tried to put the track in, and then apply heat. That worked. Gave me nice square bends.

Well, that's all folks. nice and easy. Made from simple styrene angle stock.

Thanks everone. They really were easy to make and from what I have seen, they are pretty close to being accurate. Not too bad for 6.00 dollars.
