Shadow Troopers and Lightsabers.

Hey y'all I'm new to the forum and a life ling fan of Star Wars. I was doing some research on the Shadow Troopers and I stumbled acrossed an article about some of the Shadow Troopers welded Lightsabers I was just wondering if any of y'all know if this us still cannon or not. If so I plan in doing a lightsaber welding Shadow Trooper.

For the Shadow Stormtrooper, check out the Spec Ops detachment. They hold this costume. However, they do not wield a light saber. So far, only the TKC or Stormtrooper commander has that option. The Ralph Mcquarrie concept trooper has a laser sword, that is similar, but not quite the same.

I know the Cuis-clone thing - but for me they are not more than a EU blimp, nothing ANH hero as Alex wrote.

IMO Its just an excuse for a stormtrooper to have a lightsaber, which I am perfectly fine with. Maybe the force sensitive troopers can actually hit something for once if they had a laser sword.
