TK29772[TK] Posted February 24, 2016 Author Report Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) RWA is Ross Walmsley. He is a local chap who is supplying a few kits within the UK Garrison. I believe mine is the 1st one of his kits to apply for EIB. A lot of his kits are TD's in Vectis Remnant Squad Edited March 3, 2016 by Monster72SW Quote

TK29772[TK] Posted February 29, 2016 Author Report Posted February 29, 2016 Hey man, your photos have disappeared!! Cheers bud. Don't know what's happened. I did have some grief adding them, I ended up adding them to "My Media" and then pasting them in instead of pasting the Photobucket links in direct. I'll try that now. It used to look perfect on my laptop but out of scale on my phone. . . Quote
TK29772[TK] Posted March 1, 2016 Author Report Posted March 1, 2016 I've inserted all images direct this time Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 Thanks for updating the pictures Lee we'll be with you shortly 1 Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted March 3, 2016 Report Posted March 3, 2016 Hey Lee thanks you for your EIB application CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Awesome build, great job. We couldn't help but notice the cool decal you have on your left shoulder bell. Unfortunately decal allowance isn't in the CRL and so cannot be part of your submission photos. If you could please remove the decal and resubmit any photos where it may be shown. Thank you 1 Quote
TK29772[TK] Posted March 4, 2016 Author Report Posted March 4, 2016 Sincere apologies. I overlooked this. Decal removed and photo's re-submitted in original post. Lee Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Hey Lee thanks you for your EIB application CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Awesome build, great job. Thank you for removing the decal from the shoulder bell, so without further delay, your armor meets all CRL criteria. Congratulations and welcome to Expert Infantry!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we cover off your overall appearance and balance of fit, if it is discovered that adjustment are required to get you looking your best, they will be mentioned here. If any of these will effect a future Centurion application, they will be covered in that section below. Let us start by saying, what an excellent build you have here. The overall balance and fit are fantastic, and really there are only two things that we would like to see adjusted. 1. Shoulder bells: The top of the Bell should be virtually if not touching the side of the shoulder bridge. All you need do is shorten those top straps and it will be perfect. 2. Side gaps between Ab and Kidney plate. You are on the limits of what is acceptable for EIB. These will need to be closed up completley if in the event you decide to push for Centurion approval. Centurion Suggestions: The ultimate accuracy at this level is up to the Trooper, and Lee, we see no reason why you should not aim for the top rank. If you can cinch in those side gaps without having to add side shims, then that is the easier solution. Failing that you would need to make a very narrow set of shims and blend them in with ABS paste. Make the couple of adjustments we have mentioned above, follow the CRL for Centurion and hopefully we see you in your beautiful armor with application in hand in the future. Again, Congratulations sir. 1 Quote
TK29772[TK] Posted March 9, 2016 Author Report Posted March 9, 2016 That is excellent news. Thank you I noticed during troops that there was a gap in between my shoulder bells and the shoulder bridges. I will modify this straight away. As for the gap between Ab and kidney plate, it was something I was aware of and I've started a Cambridge diet to lose just under 2 stone in weight which puts me within the correct BMI band for my height and hopefully this will lose my beer belly and the gap will close up at the sides. Hopefully in a few months I'll be back with a Centurion application Thanks again. Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Congratulations Lee and welcome to EIB trooper 1 Quote
