Perotis Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 I'm starting to fit my new armor and was wondering about some fitment issues. - The first one is easy, I'm guessing that it's acceptable to make the "U" cut out in the biceps larger, and maybe even round off the top corner, because it's mostly hidden by the armpit and the bell. - My chest plate seems to rest too high and/or forward, and when I put my helmet on it just rests on the chest plate rather than my head. I can press it (chest plate) into the right position, but the shape of shoulders on the chest and the straps keep pulling it up again. Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 YOur back plate seems up high. Keep in mind that your back plate and the kidney plate will be resting together. Like this: Your chest position looks correct. Yes the helmet is hitting it a bit but that is just due to your body shape. Super thin troopers have the chest plate that lays much flatter against them creating more room between the chest and helmet Quote
Perotis Posted February 20, 2016 Author Report Posted February 20, 2016 well when I turn my head the bucket stays in place because it's sitting on the chest. Would it be acceptable to heat/bend the top of the chest-shoulders to a flatter/vertical position? Quote
Tarragon[TK] Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 You may also need to pad your bucket. If you can quickly turn you head from one side to the other & the bucket remains facing the original direction, you will need padding. Quote
magni[TK] Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 Plus your just holding it there. When all the pieces are put together that will help pull it down. Quote
