dator97 Posted February 14, 2016 Author Report Posted February 14, 2016 I was meaning the amount of pictures of all angles Quote
Sentry71[TK] Posted February 14, 2016 Report Posted February 14, 2016 You can put similar items in a photo (both forearm pieces, both bicep pieces) if you want to have less photos. Overall, the cuts look really good so far. Quote
dator97 Posted February 14, 2016 Author Report Posted February 14, 2016 It's rough cuts right now after I get the rough in I plan on cleaning up and trying for centurion lvl 1 Quote
dator97 Posted February 14, 2016 Author Report Posted February 14, 2016 Ok what should I do about the areas that the blade makes a line from the blade on the armor when I am doing the rough trimming cause this is happening some and I know will show up Quote
Sleestak Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 Interested to see the rarely used hinge and gate lock strapping method! Looks great so far. 1 Quote
Sentry71[TK] Posted February 17, 2016 Report Posted February 17, 2016 Ok what should I do about the areas that the blade makes a line from the blade on the armor when I am doing the rough trimming cause this is happening some and I know will show up That is a good question. I've been using lexan scissors for most cuts, and the straight lines with a metal ruler for score and snap have been relatively clean. I would think that those cuts (if not too deep) can just be sanded out. Deep cuts might require ABS paste, but hopefully none of your runaway blade marks are that deep. Quote
dator97 Posted February 18, 2016 Author Report Posted February 18, 2016 they are relativly in non important areas or area's that arent usally seen up close but the scoring method seems to be working really good so far i need to get back to it but i have more important things todo atm it will be mainly on weekends working on it Quote
EmpireJAG[TK] Posted February 21, 2016 Report Posted February 21, 2016 (edited) You can definitely get rid of all those edge returns as they will make it hard to move and come off ***(other than where torso plates meet each other. Don't trim those off!) Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk Edited February 21, 2016 by EmpireJAG Quote
dator97 Posted February 22, 2016 Author Report Posted February 22, 2016 good to know this is still only the rough trimming once i get it all rough trimmed and the under suit in i can see how it is going to fit and do more trimming on it 1 Quote
dator97 Posted February 22, 2016 Author Report Posted February 22, 2016 this is 20 23 14 and 15 rough trimm Quote
