Also cod and butt plate have been cut. Quote
Lizzeh Posted May 24, 2008 Report Posted May 24, 2008 Looks good! It fits you well As for the straps, cross them over? Quote
Darth Voorhees[501st] Posted May 25, 2008 Report Posted May 25, 2008 lookin good trooper! Yup, like Lizzeh said, cross the straps, thats what i do, so they "X" in the front and back. I had the same probalem, and that fixed it right up! Quote
Jester Posted May 25, 2008 Author Report Posted May 25, 2008 thanks for the advise i'll give it a go and let you know how it went. i was ganna add extra snap to the bridges or in side the chest plate but crossing the straps seams to be a less fussy way of solving this problem Quote
Trooperman Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 lookin good trooper cant wait to see the rest Quote
missingpieces[501st] Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 um, your biceps need to be rotated 90* inward Quote
john danter Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 what they all said....plus Dont glue the shoulder strap to the back plate. Just curve it and leave it there. Use black velcro underneath to connect the 2 large plates together. This stops your shoulder straps from snapping Quote
Julianhuey Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 Hi There, I did it the same way as John and it works for me. I also crossed the main shoulder straps but found it still pulled down as I have a "Drop Shoulder." I made a cross bace (velcro fastening through loops on the main straps) for the front as well as crossing the straps at the back. If you also put a few small pieces of thin rubber or foam inside the bi-ceps it helps them stop working there way down and pulling at the shoulders so much. All helps keep things where you want them ! Cheers, Julian. Quote
