Haribon72[TK] Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) Shaun, when we worked on Omar's helmet, we copied the actually helmet found on starwarshelmets.com. If you have a moment, you might want to redo the tip of the left frown and get close to the references below. I know it will be a task, but it stray away from the ROTJ frown. I hope this helps. I studied your beautiful helmet over and over and I can see you painted a little more on the "lips" area. I'm not sure if it will be an issue, but let's see what Tony can find on it. I did all my research on starwarshelmets.com too. I really liked the look of the MK2 helmet that was produced specifically for Empire, but if it endangers my approval then I'll have to change the frown. Here is the screen used MK2: \m/ Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 So here's your answer coming from the previous DO... "MK2 was a ROTJ prototype using all ROTJ armor details specifically the white edge trim. If someone is going ESB, I would only support the standard ANH type frown painted black" Quote

I'll get to work on cleaning it up. \m/ Quote

shaunpug[TK] Posted March 4, 2016 Author Report Posted March 4, 2016 Sorry ShaunIt would be interesting in the future to do a full "MK2" build. Could make a really cool trooper! \m/ 1 Quote
shaunpug[TK] Posted March 5, 2016 Author Report Posted March 5, 2016 Alright! I reshaped the frown to the CRL standards, added in the padding, put the Hovi tips back on, and I can now say that the helmet is complete! Well, at least until I get all the electronics. Also, look what I got today: Phoenix Props ESB E-11 w/aluminum pipe ready to go! Thanks to a fellow Garrison member for this beauty. I'll be adding on a few real sterling parts a bit later as well! And just for fun, here is all the ESB stuff layed out Since I had my paints out I also went ahead and painted the Ab buttons. \m/ 1 Quote
shaunpug[TK] Posted March 5, 2016 Author Report Posted March 5, 2016 I wanted to post a few more pics of how much I removed from the frown Also I was just alerted to the fact that I need to flip my s trim around so it closes under the vocoder. I'll be doing that ASAP \m/ 2 Quote
shaunpug[TK] Posted March 5, 2016 Author Report Posted March 5, 2016 Moved the S Trim around. I think I'm done now! I swear? Haha \m/ 3 Quote
toybiz[TK] Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Looking great. IMO the MK2 is cool but it is so close to ROTJ. Just go for ESB and we can troop like twins! 1 Quote

I already have a legion ID for my TB...TB-25415...can I have a second for my TK or do I need to use the same one? \m/ Quote
bpoodoo Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 (edited) Ah! dang yes looks like you will use the same legion ID # just with a TK prefix. But keep them in mind for someone when he's ready for his first 501st costume! Edited March 9, 2016 by bpoodoo 1 Quote
