Coastertk Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 Nice build James. Great work with the paste!! Love your E-11. It looks like you have a tiny bit of return edge remaining on the dimpled ridge of the fore arm wrist edge. Simple trim job and it should be an easy pass. Again nice job! 1 Quote

TKZombie[TK] Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 Can you share more about the Velcro on the TD, how it attaches to the belt I assume to keep it from being lifted off? I've been wondering how to make it more secure. Quote
JDTrooper Posted February 3, 2016 Author Report Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) Great Tip from Jay Per your recommendation, I have cut out the excess return edge from the front of the forearms. Thank you all for the compliments and recommendations. Edited May 6, 2016 by JDTrooper 1 Quote
JDTrooper Posted February 3, 2016 Author Report Posted February 3, 2016 Can you share more about the Velcro on the TD, how it attaches to the belt I assume to keep it from being lifted off? I've been wondering how to make it more secure. I added the Velcro to the TD clips for a couple reasons. One, it keeps the TD better secured to the belt. And two, it helps prevent the metal TD clips from scratching the kidney and butt plates. If you have any other questions, just let me know. Thanks! 1 Quote

justjoseph63[Staff] Posted February 4, 2016 Report Posted February 4, 2016 Holy cow, James! You did an absolutely incredible job on this armor, sir, and that paint job is spectacular. Should be an easy pass, I would say. 1 Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 Hey there, James! Thank you Very much for your application for Centurion. Let's look at your armor!! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted, and return edge removed from the forearms.Thank you very much for a wonderful job blending those side shim seams as mentioned in your EI appraisal, you must admit, they look much tidier. Man you should be very proud of this armor, just keep an eye on the gap opening slightly on the rivet side of the Ab and kidney seam, but we think it as only opened up when you raised your arms for the photo. Congratulations and welcome to Centurion Sir 2 Quote
