E-Ren89 Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 So the kit I'm putting together it seems that when I line up the parts of the scope, when I look thru it half of it is blocked. It's obviously because of the shape of it and the front smaller side is lower than the back larger side of the scope. Do most of your blasters allow you to see perfectly thru the scope or is my case the same for most blasters? Quote
I'm Batman[501st] Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 What 'kit' are you putting together? Real scopes have angled prism's that deflect the light and therefore vision to the correct angles allowing you to see. Some people have hollowed out their resin scopes to allow sight/light all the way through, but unless you insert prism's or mirrors (I think someone did recently, can't remember who, sorry) you won't have direct line of sight for the reasons you mentioned. E-Ren89 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Report Posted December 10, 2015 It's a 3D printed kit I purchased. I assumed a mirror set would be required in some way for 100% visual, but just wanted to make sure Quote

E-Ren89 Posted December 10, 2015 Author Report Posted December 10, 2015 If anyone knows of easy tutorials of installing prisms/mirrors I would love to get a hold of it. Mine came hollowed out already so if I can get a hold of a tutorial and my hands on tiny prisms/mirrors I'd like to see if it's possible to do this Quote
I'm Batman[501st] Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 I wouldn't say easy, but it was Chris's I was talking about... http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32072-thrawns-guards-anh-e11-blaster-build/page-6 Quote
Thrawn's guard Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) Eric - Page 12 of my build thread shows what I was able to come up with. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32072-thrawns-guards-anh-e11-blaster-build/page-12 Don't forget however that the E11 blasters scopes are actually on backwards.......As are many of the star Wars weapon scopes.
