AP ESB Build WIP

I am actually starting a build thread with my materials checklist etc. My final payment was sent to day now I wait for Brown Box day!

 

I'm going to need a F**k ton of help on this because even with the research I don't trust myself to get to centurion alone... I'm not even sure which part to start on. :(

Snaps at least 30 (size 24 snaps 5/16th post) 20 for now
Snap setter
Small bolts for lenses (x6) (chicago style is what is recommended but I used 6-32 bolts cut to 8mm/6-32 computer bolts and 6-32 nuts) 

black paint on plastidip

3/4" dia. Rare Earth Magnets

Oatey Fix-It Stick Epoxy Putty

Rivet gun and 3mm rivets/washers

 

If y'all notice stuff I'm missing let me know. I'm in this for the long haul so that means getting that sweet sweet centurion status eventually!

The polish of choice that a few TKs use for their armour is Novus.. It can be found at your local Harley Davidson Store. Just thought I'd put that here, as you don't have plastic polish crossed off yet.

Good call AP's ABS is already glossy but their will be scuff and scrapes down the road.

Great job on those eyes mate! The only thing I can really spot is that the edges of the eyes need a little filing/ sanding to smooth out the rough edges but it just may be the picture and the angle. Can't wait to see the rest!

YOu're probably right man. I need to grab some fine grit paper and smooth it out a bit more. Although I have seen a lot of ref photo's that show the ESB troopers eye and it looks pretty rough lol

I tried on my compression clothes yesterday after I packed up my cutting tools for funsies. Here's me having that aforementioned beer (in Pyrates' build thread) with my AK-74 replica. No it's not canon but it is the only super realistic weapon replica I own.
