Millar007[501st] Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 I've seen the elastic strap that wraps around the armpit/arm secured to the bell via snaps, Velcro and glue. Preferences? It doesn't need to be attached and taken off (in my understanding) so thinking just gluing in place is best? Quote
Dark PWF[Staff] Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 Jefferson, my straps, and all of them that I personally know of are simply glued into the shoulder bells. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 Glue them. Keep it simple. Quote
Penguitrooper Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 What glue do you recommend? E6000? Zap a gap? Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 In this case it doesn't really matter much. But E-6000 does work excellent. Quote
wingnut65[Staff] Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Yes, E6000 is the best way, at least for newbies. I followed the guidelines noted here and during my first fitting, my biceps would not stay in my shoulder bells. My elastic was so tight that I had to remove it and make longer elastic strap. Having it all glued in with E6000 made it very easy to swap them out. Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Glued using E6000. The long curing time sucks, but in the end it's worth it. Quote
