tkrestonva[TK] Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Does anyone know if they will be getting more stock in of the undersuit ? Website says Jan 2016. Quote
TK4205 Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 I could reproduce this suit with rubberized parts, but I can't beat the price of 29 euros. Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 I could reproduce this suit with rubberized parts, but I can't beat the price of 29 euros. Mine cost me $102 with shipping. If you can beat that, then you probably have a market waiting for you. Quote
TK4205 Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 Not likely. I would have to spend almost that for a full unitard, then the cost of rubberizing the right part. Quote
TD90198[TK] Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 Having trooped in mine about 4 times I can say the shinny part wears quickly anywhere the armor touches. Quote
swpropmaker Posted December 5, 2015 Report Posted December 5, 2015 how would you guys recommend rubberizing a standard under suit to match the Ep7 one.. got 3 of the storm trooper ones ordered a couple Ep7s but wont be here in time. Quote
JimmyC Posted December 5, 2015 Author Report Posted December 5, 2015 You can probably get away with not having the shiny one if you are in a pinch. The shiny part is actually like a spandex like material. Probably very similar to the Mara Jade jump suit material if you are familiar. I mean if you could make some undershorts or boxers with that shiny material and wear is over top the jump suit...? Quote
BUNKERTOR100 Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 WOW! This looks cool. I might have to order one. Quote
chaosprince Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 I have www.TheRpcStudio.com making my undersuit using reference photos and such. I wish I would've seen this thread earlier haha Quote

Daft Aider Posted January 20, 2016 Report Posted January 20, 2016 I ordered my suit over the christmas holidays and received my under suit a couple of weeks ago. the PVC part around the butt and thighs is very shiny, I think it may need dulling down a bit. Are there any reference pics floating around that show TFA TK's shiny butts? ;-) Quote
bmth chris[TK] Posted January 21, 2016 Report Posted January 21, 2016 Mine came yesterday. From the time I placed the order to the time it arrived took eight days - which coming from the UK is lightning fast. It's definitely thicker than your standard UnderArmor-type compression gear - more like t-shirt thickness - but still stretchy. I ordered an XL and it fits perfectly. just curious, if I were 6'1- 6'2 at around 175-180 lbs would XL work? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted January 21, 2016 Report Posted January 21, 2016 I'm 6'1" but around 220lbs. I'd say that based on your height you should go with an XL. Quote

Surfintrooper[TK] Posted January 31, 2016 Report Posted January 31, 2016 Just put in order. Cost was $95 u.s. including shipping. All the previous orders may have brought the cost down. Thanks<br> Now I'll have the under suit , got the gloves, waiting for the ordered helmet. Now I just need the armor to go on sale as I missed the presale. Quote

deadvision Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 Is the rubberized area specifically required for level 1 approval? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted February 4, 2016 Report Posted February 4, 2016 Is the rubberized area specifically required for level 1 approval? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk Nope. A standard TK undersuit is fine for basic approval. Quote
