dapradiel Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) Hello FISD Working on my Troopermaster kit, I ended up with a pretty oval opening on the upper end of my forearms. The parts were rounder to begin with, but I have skinny arms so I had to trim quite a bit. It's difficult to tell from the picture, but perhaps someone has some experience with this: Should I try to reshape the piece for a rounder opening? If so, what's the best way to do it? One of them is already glued. Will heat, hot water for example, mess up the glue (E6000)? Edited October 19, 2015 by dapradiel Quote

It's a good shape as the originals were not perfectly rounded at this end either, they were more oval like this. Quote
Bone[501st] Posted October 19, 2015 Report Posted October 19, 2015 My forearms look exactly like yours and I didn't cut too much material. It is a TM Feature, nothing wrong with that. The openings for your Hands are round and that is the only Thing that matters ... Quote
troopermaster Posted October 20, 2015 Report Posted October 20, 2015 The forearms are supposed to be oval. 1 Quote
Warkicker Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 The cross sectional anatomy of the human forearm is more oval than round, so the shape of the armor as pictured would be more in harmony with most people's anatomy. Quote
troopermaster Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Not only that, the originals are exactly the same and that's all that matters I have photos of the original RS forearm from the same angle and they are the same. I will see if I can dig it out when I have more time. 1 Quote
