Feedback[TK] Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 Hello fellow TK's !!! Since I finished my armor, I started to work on my blaster. It's a model from Brett (AP owners will know who I'm talking about). - I did some light weathering on the blaster (may be a bit much on the counter...) - I added 2 wires from the power cylinders to the counter. I also added the ejector clip (took me 2 hours to make that....). I glued the half spherical shape on the clip (comes from the tip of one of my wifes painting brush...) I also engraved the OFF with the arrow. Seeing a close-up, I think I went heavy on the weathering of the counter and around the clip... - I filled the A and R with red crayon. Works well !! - Pistol grip shinny ! - Top view with crayon filling and, I must say, the bronze weathering that I find pretty good on my scope ! As usual, please feel free to comment, I did not seal the blaster yet so I guess I can do some mods if need be. Oh yea, I want to modify the counter dial and add a sight in the scope. That will be done next winter. 1 Quote
bigcheesewilly Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) Excellent work... .....scope weathering is perfect....counter a little too much, only because you've focused the weathering towards the front....as you know...great job though...... Feedback[TK] Posted October 16, 2015 Author Report Posted October 16, 2015 Thanks Eli, I'll try to clean the counter a bit before sealing it. Quote
drunken hutt[TK] Posted November 1, 2015 Report Posted November 1, 2015 Was the E-11 you got from Brett already 501st certified straight out of the box? Quote
I'm Batman[501st] Posted November 1, 2015 Report Posted November 1, 2015 Was the E-11 you got from Brett already 501st certified straight out of the box? Blasters aren't required for 501st approval Quote
drunken hutt[TK] Posted November 1, 2015 Report Posted November 1, 2015 Blasters aren't required for 501st approval Thanks. I was aware of this, but I wasn't sure whether the blaster from Brett needed any work done to it. I currently plan on buying my blaster from him. Quote
Feedback[TK] Posted November 1, 2015 Author Report Posted November 1, 2015 The D-ring is already there, I just spiced it up a little Pat Quote
