bmth chris[TK] Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 Would TK boots be centurion approved right out of the box? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Coastertk Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 I would recommend scuffing them first. I used bunched up news paper. Worked great. Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 Definitely, Chris. Good call from Jay about the scuffing on the boots, especially since you are going for HWT. Quote

Steve Britt[TK] Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 Are they pretty accurate to dress shoes, I wear a 9.5 dress shoe, would you say I should order the same or a 10, what have your experiences been? Quote
Astyanax Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 Steve, one of the things I have learned in my reading on these forums is that you want to go a tad large, if for no other reason than to be able to adequately pad the insoles. Hours and hours of standing demand it. Go size 10 and pad as needed. Bill 1 Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 (edited) Good call by Bill on going a half size larger.. I also keep shoe stretchers in my boots when not wearing them.. They are pretty inexpensive, (less than 20 bucks), and keep the shape of the boot in between troops. Edited June 7, 2021 by gmrhodes13 photos updated gmrhodes13 2021 1 Quote
